This is an absolutely stunning boutique hotel. The origin of its name is quite interesting—there are currently 6,500 granite slabs on Chaozong Street, hence the hotel is named "6500." Just this detail alone shows its deep connection to the historic street! A hotel that truly values cultural heritage.
The hotel has 33 guest rooms, each named after old buildings, alleys, or former businesses on Chaozong Street, like "Jiuruli" and "Nanmu Hall." The terrace is a highlight—perfect for enjoying the evening breeze and overlooking IFS. The contrast between the old town's gray-tiled roofs and modern skyscrapers is quite poetic!
🏠 The rooms are spacious, featuring a black-and-white color scheme with rattan-woven furniture like the minibar cabinet, bedside table, and chairs. Smart home technology blends seamlessly with Chinese elements, striking the perfect balance between tradition and modernity—a textbook example of fusion aesthetics!
💁♀️ The service is incredibly thoughtful. Late-night snacks are delivered to your room from 7 PM to midnight, and breakfast arrives in a beautiful wooden box—both presentation and taste are excellent! Free travel photography and errand services are also available. Sometimes, when I didn’t feel like going out, ordering a drink was super convenient!
🏡 The bottled water in the room is freshly drawn daily from the ancient Baisha Well, paired with dark tea and a traditional tea set. The amenities are top-notch: electric toothbrushes with disposable heads, razors with a full can of Gillette shaving foam, and standard TOTO washlets and bathtubs—rare at this price point!
🏨 The hotel’s public areas include a gym, shared laundry, and a coffee bar. After doing laundry, I’d relax at the coffee bar with its cozy fireplace design. Guests can also redeem free afternoon tea vouchers, and fresh fruits and snacks are available 24/7!
Overall, the experience was truly amazing! Finding such a satisfying hotel is rare—I just had to share it with my internet friends! If you book here, remember to solve the Rubik’s cube by the bed—it can be exchanged for a free cup of Tea Yan Yuese!
