Changsha High Speed ​​Rail Tour

That day I took the high-speed rail from Qingyuan to Changsha South Station, starting a three-day trip to Changsha, Hunan.

This time I booked the Exotic Royal Hotel which is very close to the pedestrian street. The hotel has rooms of different themes and the price per night is only over 400. It is different from the previous hotel styles. For example, my room is pink and light green. Fortunately, the effect is quite fresh. For the cheap room rate, it is worth a try.

After putting away the luggage, I went to the pedestrian street near Changsha International Financial Center to look for delicious food. The first thing I tried was stinky tofu. You can tell how it tastes by the long queue. Then I tried the durian cake, which had a strong durian flavor but was not too greasy, quite good. As I was walking, I saw a skewer stall. When I looked closer, I saw poisonous insects like centipedes and scorpions! I don't have the courage to try it, maybe it's quite crispy.

Finally, I took the subway to the famous Orange Island. Orange Island is an impact sandbar in the Xiangjiang River. It has always been a famous scenic spot in Changsha and is even more famous for Mao Zedong's famous quote. We took a boat tour and moored the statue of Chairman Mao, which was spectacular against the backdrop of the yellow river water.
