Must-see attractions in Changsha

When traveling to Changsha, Orange Island is one of the must-see attractions. Orange Island is a narrow sandbar island in the middle of the Xiangjiang River, five kilometers from north to south. The giant granite sculpture of a young Mao Zedong at the southern end is the landmark of Orange Island. The statue is 32 meters high and can be seen from a distance. It is very shocking to watch it in person. After nightfall, the stone statue under the light presents another color, which can be called a masterpiece of contemporary large-scale sculpture art.
