Discovering Jiangnan in Luhua Bay

This trip to Shajiabang in Changshu led me to stay at "Huajian Pavilion·Luhua Bay," and it was such a delightful surprise! The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the Suzhou-style architecture with its white walls and black tiles, as if walking into an ink painting 🎨. The hotel's location is fantastic, nestled within the Shajiabang Scenic Area, surrounded by shimmering waters and swaying reeds—I felt like I'd stepped right into the painting 🌾.

We booked the "Wenyan Jilu King Bed Room," which was incredibly spacious. The 1.8-meter bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable sleep. Breakfast for two was included, featuring local delicacies that left me feeling utterly refreshed 😌.

For dinner, we tried the "Huajian Dining Set for 2-3," which included Shajiabang's signature braised chicken, Suzhou-style salted pork with bamboo shoots, and steamed Yangcheng Lake whitefish with scallion oil... Each dish was unforgettable, especially the braised chicken—tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection! 🍗
