Tingzhou trip

Morning light gently reveals Tingzhou
A thin mist like a veil covers the old street
The bluestone path glistens with moisture
Like verses kissed by autumn
The eaves of old houses awaken in the morning light
So tender it’s unbelievable
🍁【9:00 Tiantou Street Morning Market】
The moment the steamer lid lifts
The heat fogs the camera lens
Hakka grandmas slowly wrap taro dumplings
The scent of soy milk mixed with osmanthus fills the alley
This is the ritual that autumn should have!
At the alley entrance, the phoenix tree leaves turn yellow
The wind blows, falling like a golden waterfall
🌊【13:00 Walk Along the Ancient City Wall】
Standing on the 600-year-old city wall
The Ting River is as green as jade
The reflection of Chaotian Gate gently sways
Egrets skim the water surface
Ripples spread out
Like time writing a looping poem
📚【16:00 Wolong Academy】
Around the corner, a maple tree burns red
Amid white walls and black tiles
Sitting under a thousand-year-old banyan tree, lost in thought
Dappled light flickers on the scrolls
Suddenly understanding why Zhu Xi
Chose this place to teach and preach
💡Travel Tips:
▪ Freshly fried tofu triangles are crispy outside and tender inside
▪ Sunset at Huiji Gate is stunning
▪ Handmade glutinous rice cakes are sticky and chewy without sticking to teeth
▪ Wearing Hanfu for photos is highly recommended for amazing shots
As you leave the city, the lights begin to glow
Red lanterns on the city tower light up one by one
Like the ancient city gently blinking its eyes
This autumn
In Changting,
I encountered
The gentlest form of time
