A hidden paradise by Taihu Lake in Huzhou! The night view of this performance city is breathtaking✨
I've always wanted to find a lesser-known spot around Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai to relax, and this time I discovered Taihu Performance City (formerly Taihu Ancient Town), which truly amazed me! During the day, it features quaint traditional Chinese architecture, and at night, when the lights come on, it feels like a time-travel experience~
🏮Must-visit spots
1. Main Square Light Show
The 8 PM light show is an absolute must-see! Water screens + music + lighting effects make it a visual and auditory feast. It’s recommended to arrive half an hour early, especially on weekends when it’s very crowded.
2. Dragon-shaped Lantern Corridor
The hundred-meter-long colorful lantern corridor is perfect for photos. Wearing Hanfu here creates an amazing effect! Lantern lighting time is from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
3. Lakeside Viewing Platform
During the day, you can enjoy panoramic views of Taihu Lake, and watching the sunset in the evening is super romantic. There’s also a special snack street nearby—highly recommend trying Taihu’s “Three Whites”!
