In the Plum Forest, a park next to Wuhou Temple not far from downtown Chengdu, there is a small old academy built in red.
This place, called Wuhou Academy, is in front of a small cloud bridge that you cross while walking through the plum forest, so it is a place where you can take pretty pictures. In particular, the blue sky on a clear day and the red walls go well together, making it even more serene and pretty.
Since it is near Zhuge Liang's temple, it is also called Wuhou Academy, so I think it must have been a place where many great people lived.
