Wenshu Monastery ☀️

In the quiet of a summer morning, Wenshu Monastery felt like a world apart. The scent of sandalwood drifted through red halls and stone courtyards, where golden Buddhas sat in timeless stillness. Monks moved calmly between prayer sessions, and visitors bowed with incense sticks beneath ancient trees. Lotus flowers bloomed in stone basins, and the rhythmic clink of temple bells echoed gently in the air. 🪷🔔🧘

Outside, Chengdu hummed with city life, but within these temple walls, time slowed. We sipped tea in the monastery’s garden teahouse, shaded by bamboo and blossoms, watching steam curl from clay cups. Wenshu Monastery wasn’t just a place to visit it was a place to breathe, reflect, and let the spirit settle under the soft warmth of a summer sky. 🍵🌿☀️
