Langham Place, Chengdu, a Hyatt Centric I stay at every time

Switched from Grand Hyatt to Langham Place, just a few minutes away, very convenient.

1. The lobby is on the 38th floor, and the executive lounge is on the 37th floor.

2. The room type I stayed in is the Prestige Langyu Room, a small studio with the bed facing the floor-to-ceiling window, though the view is relatively average. The room is on the 59th floor.

3. The toiletries are from Fumarel, making it the third hotel I’ve stayed at using Fumarel toiletries besides Four Seasons (the other two are Langham Place, Changsha Wellesley, and Raffles).

4. The service is excellent, with a free laundry allowance for three pieces of clothing. Thanks to Langham Place ambassadors Xiao Xing and Xiao Wei for the full arrangement, prompt room service response, and the room’s soundproofing is also very good.

5. The mini bar is free, and the items inside are more abundant than at Grand Hyatt.

6. There was a tour group on the day of check-in, so it was very crowded, but the service was not compromised.

7. The hotel location is great, with many snacks and delicacies downstairs.

8. The food in the executive lounge tastes good, and the afternoon tea is worth trying.

Compared to Grand Hyatt, Langham Place is more likable. The parking lot is also convenient, with fast charging; takeout can be delivered upstairs but is usually placed in the takeout cabinet.

🧹 Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The room’s soundproofing is very good, and the overall hygiene condition is excellent.

🏘️ Room Types/Layout: There are 120 sqm Yinghui Suites and Prestige Langyu Rooms. The Yinghui Suite is spacious with a smooth layout and offers panoramic city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows; the Prestige Langyu Room is a small studio with the bed facing the floor-to-ceiling window, with a relatively average view, located on the 59th floor. The lobby is on the 38th floor, the executive lounge on the 37th floor, and the hotel is in a prime location with many snacks downstairs, just a few minutes from Grand Hyatt.

🛌 Amenities/Facilities: The rooms are comfortable, with the Yinghui Suite design blending modern and classical aesthetics; toiletries are from Fumarel; the mini bar is free and well-stocked; the hotel features art installations, Sichuan opera masks, and a rooftop helipad; the parking lot has fast charging facilities.

💗 Other Tips: Excellent service with prompt room response and full ambassador arrangements; the executive lounge food is good, and the afternoon tea is worth trying; daily dining is rich and features local specialties, allowing guests to enjoy authentic cuisine within the hotel; the lobby hosts a “Panda Adoption” ceremony, with staff dressed as adorable pandas; takeout can be delivered to the takeout cabinet, making travel convenient.
