🌍 Overview
Yangtianhu Grassland is located in Yangtianhu Yao Ethnic Township, Beihu District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, with an average altitude of 1,314 meters. It is the southernmost alpine grassland in China and the closest alpine grassland to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region. Here, you’ll find the vast majesty of northern grasslands and the delicate charm of southern landscapes, blending "grandeur, wonder, adventure, beauty, ethereality, serenity, and fun" into one. As a national 4A-level scenic area, it boasts vast grasslands, Yangtian Lake, anime-style windmills, and unique attractions like the Hobbit Castle and the Giant Buddha of Yangtian.

🚗 Transportation

Self-driving: It is recommended to take the Chen-Yang Highway (Yuefeng Route), a newly paved road that leads directly to the scenic area.
Public transport: Take the Yangtianhu Special Line 832 from Chenzhou West High-Speed Rail Station or Chenzhou Tianlong Bus Station. Departure times from the West High-Speed Rail Station are 9:50, 10:30, and 11:20, with return trips from the scenic area at 13:50, 14:30, and 15:20. The first bus from Tianlong Station departs at 6:30, and the last at 15:30, while the first return bus from the scenic area leaves at 8:30 and the last at 17:30.
