Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan, a temple that is a symbol of Chiang Mai

#BeautifulTemple : Hello to all the religious people. I have visited Chiang Mai many times, but there is one saying that many generations often say, "If you go to Chiang Mai and don't come to Doi Suthep, it's like you haven't been to Chiang Mai."

That must be true because "Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchaworawihan" was built in 1927 or around 635 years ago (late Sukhothai, early Ayutthaya period, around the same time as Phra That Chae Haeng) during the reign of King Kue Na, the 6th king of the Lanna Kingdom. He built it to enshrine a large relic by using an auspicious elephant to predict the location of the relic to be enshrined.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is approximately 1,053 meters above sea level and approximately 730 meters higher than Chiang Mai, giving a wide view of Chiang Mai.

Therefore, you should come to pay homage for good fortune.
