Wat Lok Moli is located on Maninoparat Road, Tambon Si Phum, Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Province. It is considered an old and beautiful temple in the Lanna style that is still beautiful. Inside the temple, there is a wooden chapel carved with ancient patterns. The entrance to the temple is made of bricks, curved and has a doorway that is opposite the wooden chapel. This is a popular spot for taking beautiful photos. In addition, there is a large ancient pagoda and many sacred objects enshrined in the temple for you to worship for good fortune.
The pagoda of Wat Lok Moli that you can see today is a pagoda built in the late 21st Buddhist century, more than 500 years old. Legend says that it was built during the reign of Phra Mueang Kesaklao in 2071. It is a castle-shaped pagoda that has been continuously developed until it looks like the one we see today.
Inside the wooden chapel, there is a Buddha statue, a Buddha in the meditation posture, enshrined in the chapel. The Buddha statue is called Phra Phuttha Santi Chirabom Lokanat. The ceiling and pillars are carved with various beautiful patterns. And the relics were placed on the top of the head on November 6, 2003.
