#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

Wat Rampeang (Tapotharam) stands tall at the foot of Doi Suthep. From the first step in, you will feel the cool breeze of the mist and the sound of a flowing stream, soft and clear. The surrounding atmosphere is surrounded by bamboo trees, mango trees and large rain trees, providing cool shade all day long. Even though the weather in Chiang Mai is hot during the day, the inside of the temple is cool and not too hot.

The main temple is a simple Lanna architecture. The white and cream tones look clean, but there is an ancient feel. There are slight carved wood patterns to let you know that it is truly a period. The bell-shaped pagoda is just the right size. In the evening, when the soft sunlight reflects on the cement surface, you will see a slight shimmering gold color. Those who like taking pictures are guaranteed to be delighted.

The highlight here is the meditation activities for everyone. You don't have to be a monk or novice to join. There are short courses from 1 day to 7 days. Teaching walking meditation, sitting meditation, chanting prayers and listening to Dhamma in a friendly manner. You can talk and ask questions with the monks as much as you want without feeling embarrassed. Most importantly, there are no time restrictions or strict prohibitions. For those who want to try the ascetic way of life, there is an area to practice walking with a broom to sweep the temple grounds and walk meditation seriously.

The facilities are complete with basics. The bathrooms are clean. There are hand washing stations and some power outlets to charge your mobile phones. For those who want to stay near the monks' quarters, there are quiet rooms at affordable prices. It is recommended to book in advance during festivals so that it is not full. For those who come early in the morning, it is recommended to stop by to buy traditional coffee from the locals. It is fragrant, sweet, and smooth, and it goes perfectly with the temple atmosphere.
