Relive the past at Ho Klang Wiang, Chiang Mai

More than ten years ago, we had the opportunity to walk around Ho Klang Wiang, located opposite the Three Kings Monument in Chiang Mai city. It was one of the places we didn't plan to go to, but when we got there, it felt like the world had opened up.

This place exhibits the stories of Chiang Mai from the past to the present, in terms of history, society, arts, culture, and the way of life of the Lanna people. Every zone is told in detail but easy to understand. There are both simulation images, ancient scenes, and the use of multimedia that makes us feel like we are really there.

We remember walking through the room that tells the story of the creation of Chiang Mai, we felt a little goosebumps because we could feel the sacredness and spirit of the people at that time. Another point that we liked was the room that exhibited local culture, such as clothing, handicrafts, or various rituals that reflected the beauty of Lanna.

For those who like to walk and see something quiet but are full of inspiration, this is another destination that should not be overlooked.
