Let's go see some artistic flowers 🌿✨🌸💐🌺

Flower Festival: “Maha Nakhon Flowers” Petals of Identity: Cities in Bloom 🌼🌸

This exhibition presents the provincial flowers of Thailand’s four provinces: Thongkwao (Chiang Mai), Ratchaphruek (Khon Kaen), Cassia (Ratchaburi), and Chaba (Pattani) through various forms of art. The concept is to “revive local flowers” and not just be ceremonial symbols, but to truly connect with people of all ages.

In the event, we will see flowers presented through designs and activities such as:

✨️Interactive & Immersive Art Installation by 27June Studio, which uses Projection Mapping and Interactive Sound technologies to convey the life of flowers in the digital world. We can play and participate closely with the artwork.

🎨 Live Printing Installation by Dr. Wichien Aphichatkriangkrai – Live printing on long cloth using flowers as the centerpiece, conveying the power of community unity, creating a dialogue between people, art, and nature.

👗 Contemporary floral fabrics by Kaewalin Phimson – an artist who uses the patterns of provincial flowers to design fabric patterns for everyday use, reflecting contemporary and local identity

📚 Flower stories for children by SUTO in collaboration with new-generation illustrators – conveying flower stories through 4 picture books that create imagination and understanding of culture at a young age

🖍 Coloring corner and Q&A activity – a space for relaxation and opening up a space for participation. Ask the question, “If Bangkok had a provincial flower, what would it be?” Let us join in expressing our own creativity
