Wat Ketkaram

Wat Ket Karam, Chiang Mai Province
It is an old temple on the banks of the Ping River. It was built in 1971 during the reign of King Sam Fang Kaen. The highlight is the Phra That Kesa Kaew Chulamani, a sacred relic for the year of the dog, which is famous among people born in the year of the dog for its sacredness in enhancing their fortune. The highlight is the slightly tilted top of the pagoda, so that it does not point to heaven. The chapel and the ordination hall are beautiful in the style of Lanna art.
