Beautiful Riverside Hotel Along the Ping River

If you're visiting Chiang Mai, you might want to stay at a place with a Lanna-style vibe, reminiscent of a palace and located by the Ping River. This place caught my eye, and you can book it through trip.com for a better deal than booking directly.

This accommodation is called At Pingnakorn Riverside. At Pingnakorn has three branches in Chiang Mai, and this one is located by the Ping River in the Fah Ham area.

The building is designed in an antique style, giving the feeling of being in an old palace. There are plenty of photo spots. In front of the building, there’s a giant tree. Once you pass through the lobby, you’ll find a swimming pool, and as you walk further in, there’s a lawn and seating area where you can enjoy views of the Ping River.

The highlight here is the breakfast, which includes both Western and local dishes such as Sai Ua (Northern Thai sausage), Nam Prik Noom (green chili dip), sticky rice, and crispy pork rinds.
