Seoul Stone Pot is a Korean restaurant on Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok. I often come here to eat, especially during afternoon tea time, because it’s very affordable, not expensive, and the quality is pretty good!
They specialize in stone pot bibimbap and home-style Korean dishes~ The reasonable prices are really the most attractive part~
.
🐷Korean Bibimbap - Beef Cubes Bibimbap
When the stone pot bibimbap is served, it’s full of aroma. The beef "cubes" are really big, you can’t even call them "cubes" anymore, seriously!!
The beef is stir-fried to be flavorful and not dry. Mixed with egg yolk, spicy sauce, and vegetables, plus some Korean glass noodles, the layers of flavor are rich, and every bite is a perfect match~
We already ordered less rice, but the portion was still very large and very filling!!
.
🐷Stir-fried Udon with Mixed Vegetables and Pork Belly Slices
The udon is chewy and springy, the pork belly slices are rich in fat, stir-fried dry with a good wok hei flavor, paired with lots of mixed vegetables so it’s not greasy. The taste is slightly sweet with a bit of spiciness, very flavorful!! The portion is really super worth the price!!
.
🐷Korean-style Chicken Wings
The chicken wings are fried to a crispy outside and juicy inside, drizzled with Korean sweet and spicy sauce. It’s not overly sweet, the spiciness is moderate, very tasty and appetizing.
.
🐷Homemade Kimchi
The kimchi is cut into large crunchy pieces, with a spicy and slightly sour taste, not throat-irritating, appetizing and refreshing, perfect with rice!!!
.
🐷Iced Yuzu Soda
The yuzu flavor is sweet and fresh, mixed with soda water, cold and refreshing, great for cleansing the palate and cooling down.
