Meliá Chiang Mai Hotel

𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮́ 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗶, which opened in April 2022, is located near the Night Bazaar and several famous temples in the city. The location is convenient for travel and close to popular restaurants.

The hotel is not newly built but has been almost entirely renovated from the former Pornping Tower Hotel, which was originally constructed nearly 30 years ago. Due to the original structure, the ceiling height in the hallways might feel a bit low for individuals taller than 180 cm. However, inside the rooms, the ceiling height is significantly higher, making the space feel less confined.

The standard rooms start at approximately 30 square meters and are beautifully decorated in a modern style. The lobby is elegantly designed, featuring curved lines that create a unique and dynamic aesthetic, making it a great spot for photography enthusiasts.

One of the highlights is the Roof Top Bar, the highest bar in Chiang Mai city, offering stunning views of the city and Doi Suthep mountain.

The swimming pool is attractive, though not very large.

Breakfast offers a wide variety of options, though no photos were taken due to the crowd. The standout dish was the delicious Khao Soi, which was so good it was worth having multiple servings.
