Wolong Lake Scenic Area in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province is located 1 km west of Kangping County. It is located in the transition zone from the semi-arid area in western Liaoning to the humid area in the central plains and the southern edge of the Horqin Desert.
The lake water flows into the lake from the Horqin grassland along the East and West Malian Rivers.
