
Midian Cave is a scenic spot. The cave is made up of many huge rocks stacked in the crevices of cliffs more than 70 meters high on both sides. There are 10 layers from top to bottom, winding and twisting, strange and dangerous.
The wonder of Tiandong Cave lies in the fact that it is divided into 5 layers from bottom to top. The cave is winding, strange, bizarre, thrilling and mysterious. It can be said to be a combination of wonder, seclusion, danger and fun.
It is said that in the early years, local people hid in the cave to avoid war, and the cave could accommodate hundreds of people.

Mitian Cave is a natural limestone cave formed over millions of years. It is significant for its geological features, rare formations, and as a local natural attraction showcasing Qingdao’s karst landscapes.
Located in the outskirts of Qingdao, Shandong Province. Accessible by taxi or ride-hailing services from central Qingdao. Some local buses serve the area, but private transport is more convenient. Walking inside the cave is part of the tour.
Open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The best times to visit are spring and autumn for moderate weather and less crowded conditions.
The entrance fee is approximately 60 RMB for adults, with discounts for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased offline at the entrance or online via local travel platforms.
Booking is recommended during peak season (summer holidays and weekends). 1–2 days in advance is usually sufficient.
1–2 hours are generally enough to explore the cave thoroughly, including guided tours and photography stops.
Guided tours are available in Chinese. Some tours may offer English explanations on request, but audio guides are generally not provided.
Start from the entrance, follow the main pathway through the central cavern, explore side chambers and pools, and finish at the exit after viewing educational displays.
Night visits are not available. Some special tours may include illuminated displays inside the cave.
Weekends and public holidays are busier. Weekday mornings and off-season visits are least crowded.
