📍 Wat Ming Muang is an ancient temple located in the heart of Chiang Rai, at the corner of the intersection of Banphapra Road and Trairat Road, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.

📒 Built by the Shan people, Wat Ming Muang is a uniquely beautiful temple with a blend of Shan and Lanna architecture. Locals often call this temple "Wat Ngio" or "Wat Chang Moob" (Elephant Crouching).
