📍 Wat Ming Muang is located in the heart of Chiang Rai City, at the intersection of Banphapra Road and Trairat Road, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province, not far from the Chiang Rai Clock Tower.

📒 Wat Ming Muang is a Shan temple, often referred to by locals as Wat Ngio or Wat Chang Moob (Elephant Crouching).

📸 Highlights within Wat Ming Muang include:

📸 The golden-wood viharn, made of teakwood, features carved patterns in a blend of Shan and Lanna styles.

📸 The principal Buddha image, Luang Pho Phra Si Ming Muang, is a 400-year-old stucco Buddha image covered in lacquer and gold leaf, in the Chiang Saen Singh 1 style.

📸 The Phra That Ming Muang, adorned with a golden umbrella, in keeping with Burmese art. The relics of the Lord Buddha are enshrined within the chedi.
