🌇 Art, Blue Temple

🕌 Hello, haha Today, we will take you to visit a temple. They say that it is a beautiful temple in Chiang Rai Province. Most importantly, it is unique because it is blue like no other!!! What? What temple is blue? Is there such a thing????

👻 It is said that this province has many beautiful Buddhist sites. Tourists are interested in visiting these sacred places. One of them is a temple with its own unique identity, with its outstanding colors that are second to none. It is beautiful and exquisite, and has a great reputation. That is “Wat Rong Suea Ten” or what we know as “The Blue Temple”.
🕌 Wat Rong Suea Ten used to be an abandoned temple. Later, in 1996, it was renovated by the work of Ajarn Nok (Mr. Phutta Kabkaew) or Sala Nok, a local artist from Chiang Rai, and the reunion of Rong Suea Ten villagers. They built the temple’s chapel in a contemporary Buddhist style that reflects the teachings of the Buddha. It took 11 years to build.

The highlight of this temple is the blue church contrasting with the gold color. At the entrance to the chapel, the first thing that catches the eye is the Naga staircase sculpture. With a swaying head and fangs, the body has blue-green scales, looking beautiful and intimidating.
Inside the temple, there are paintings about the life of the Buddha. There is a large white Buddha statue called "Phra Phuttha Ratchamongkhon Bodi Trilokanath", very beautiful.
