The Golden Triangle is a border area of ​​3 countries: Thailand (Chiang Rai Province), Lao People's Republic (Bokeo Province), and Myanmar (Tachileik, Shan State). It is a triangle called Sop Ruak and is the confluence point between the Ruak River and the Mekong River.
