Worship the Bronze Buddha Image in the Subduing Mara Posture at Wat Pang Mo Puang

🏘 Wat Pang Mo Puang is named after the village of Pang Mo Puang. It is said that Mo Puang, an expert in capturing and training wild elephants, set up a temporary camp here for his work. The camp was then called Pang Mo Puang.
🏠 Wat Pang Mo Puang was established in 1891 (B.E. 2434) and was granted the royal boundary (Wisungkhama Sima) in 1971 (B.E. 2514).
🙏🏽 This temple houses a bronze Buddha image in the Subduing Mara posture, created during the period when Burma ruled Chiang Mai and other cities in the Lanna region in 1612 (B.E. 2155).
