The Alishan cherry blossom season is from March to April every year. The most popular cherry blossom viewing spots are the Sakura Railway, Sakura Road, and a 600-meter-tall century-old Yoshino cherry tree called the "Sakura King"! It is the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Alishan. The huge cherry tree is over a hundred years old. As long as the "King of Cherry Blossoms" blooms, the cherry blossoms in Alishan will bloom one after another. Although this trip was not during the cherry blossom season, we were still able to catch the tail end of the cherry blossoms, and seeing the scattered cherry blossoms was also pleasing to the eye.

Alishan also has many trails for visitors to enjoy the beauty of the forest. It is usually recommended that first-time visitors take the Alishan Park Trail, which has most of the attractions: Zhuoping area → Zimeitan area → Shouzhen Temple area → Shenmu area. It usually takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete this walk, so it is recommended to use the Alishan train (Electric Park Car), (Zhuoping Line) and (Shenmu Line) as an alternative to walking. #Alishan
