A Jiang's Home 23 Cafe

Located in Alishan, Chiayi, Ajiang's Home 23 Cafe is a Tsou-style stone house settlement, handcrafted by the owners, Ajiang and his wife, over 20 years of crafting from natural stone and wood. It integrates a cafe, guesthouse, and camping area. The entire park is imbued with indigenous culture, and the maze-like environment offers unique scenery at every turn, making it a delight to explore. It feels like stepping into the world of Hayao Miyazaki, a place both artistic and mysterious.

We arrived just before 10:30 that day and drew a number before waiting to enter. Online reports suggest a long wait, so avoid holidays or peak hours to avoid long waits.

Ajiang's Home specializes in Alishan's own roasted coffee and specialty herbal teas. We ordered iced coffee, kumquat jam tea, and Geisha coffee. Drinks come with a complimentary waffle and lemon slice with coffee powder and brown sugar. We also ordered the famous hunter rice balls. Overall, the food was quite good.

Ajiang's Home's biggest draw is probably its unique architectural style. The park is primarily furnished with solid wood furniture, creating a comfortable environment. The 360-degree natural landscape surrounding the tea plantation creates a sense of being transported to a paradise. Stopping at Ajiang's House for a short break on your way to Alishan is a truly relaxing experience!
