The Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum is located in Taibao, Chiayi, and is also known as the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum. The museum officially opened in December 2015 and covers an area of ​​70 hectares. It is positioned as an "Asian Art and Culture Museum." In order to achieve the concept of north-south balance, the hospital operates with "north-south balance, cultural enrichment" as its starting point. There are two ponds, Zhide and Zhishan, in the campus, as well as a waterfront stage, artificial wetlands and tropical gardens.
