#新年好去地方 When mentioning Chongqing, many people will think of the three-dimensional landscape of the city center and the cyberpunk buildings built on the mountains. If you like to appreciate natural wonders, the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, which is a 2-hour green train ride from Chongqing, will definitely leave you with unforgettable memories!
The Three Natural Bridges, as the name suggests, are three natural stone bridges carved by natural forces. Each has a unique shape and story. They are called Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge and Heilong Bridge respectively. They are the largest group of karst natural bridges in the world and have been listed as a United Nations World Natural Heritage. Famous movies such as "Transformers 4", "Eternal Love" and "Curse of the Golden Flower" were all filmed here.
🗺️Itinerary Notes📝
If you depart from Chongqing, you can consider taking the green train from Chongqing North Station to Wulong Station🛤️, the whole journey takes about 2 hours. Remember to buy round-trip tickets in advance, otherwise the remaining standing tickets will be very difficult. We bought hard sleeper tickets on the way there, so we can lie flat to the attractions, highly recommended!
After arriving at the station, you can take a shuttle bus up the mountain to the tourist center🚌, where we store our luggage and buy tickets🧳🎫, and then go down one level to change to a tourist bus to the entrance of Tiansheng Three Bridges.
There is a sightseeing elevator at the scenic spot🛗, and tourists can queue up to take it directly to the bottom of the valley. However, after asking the staff of the scenic spot, we decided to walk down the mountain🏔️ and enjoy the scenery along the way. It takes about 45 minutes. Because the whole journey is downhill and the weather is pleasant🍂, we really enjoyed the walking time.
After reaching the bottom of the valley, you can walk a short distance in the direction of the sightseeing elevator and visit Tianfu Official Posthouse, which was originally an important posthouse for transmitting official news in the Tang Dynasty. It was later rebuilt for the filming of "Curse of the Golden Flower"🎬. Afterwards, we followed the sightseeing trail and passed a natural stone bridge over 200 meters high from the bottom of the valley. There are also Qinglong Tiankeng and Shenying Tiankeng between the stone bridges. The shock is self-evident! It takes 2-3 hours to complete the walking trail (including a simple check-in time). It is recommended that you bring water 💦 and a small amount of snacks. At the exit there will be a shuttle bus to take you to the next attraction - Longshuixia Ground Crack, or directly return to the visitor center.
