Chongqing Outskirts Tour: Chen Tuan's Hometown Chonkan Flower Sea Scenic Area

Mount Chen Tuan is where Chen Tuan, the ancestor, lived in seclusion, cultivated himself, and devoted himself to the study of Taoism. A mountain's height is not important, but its association with immortals makes it famous. Later, as people from all over came to this mountain to ask for divination, it became known as Mount Chen Tuan among the people. The mountain has an elevation of 356 meters, with abundant forests and vegetation. There are 521 "stone steps" built to symbolize rising step by step, leading to the best flower viewing platform below the statue of Chen Tuan. From there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the vast flower sea. On both sides of the stone steps, there are sculptures and landscapes based on the stories of Chen Tuan, such as the Octagonal Well, the Millennium Chess Game, and the Sleeping Immortal Pavilion. These displays showcase the legendary life of Chen Tuan to visitors.
