It focuses primarily on traditional Chinese paintings, prints, and small sculptures. The building is notable for its striking architecture. The exterior features woven beams, with red beams running from north to south and black beams running from east to west. The design is said to be inspired by chopsticks and traditional Chinese food like hot pot. The design also draws comparisons to the white fig tree, a common tree in Chongqing. 😍😍 This is an interesting cultural experience, as it's an old art museum with no contemporary art. (What we missed) The building itself is stunning. To enter (depending on the street), turn right and take the elevator to enter.
