Chongqing Yangtze River Aerial Cable Car 💕 Yangtze River Cableway

The Yangtze River Cableway, an aerial corridor across the Yangtze River, officially opened on October 24, 1987. Stretching 1166 meters, it has been in operation for nearly forty years! The Yangtze River Cableway is Chongqing's "aerial public bus," operating for almost 40 years. Originally a necessity for locals commuting across the river, it has now become a landmark experience showcasing the city's "three-dimensional transportation." Every shot from the cable car offers stunning views of the river and city architecture—truly breathtaking!

During the day, you can clearly enjoy the river views and the cityscape on both banks. At night, you can admire the dazzling night view. After 6:30 PM, the cable car lights up, creating excellent shots against the backdrop of the nightscape.

Photography Tips: Stand as close to the window as possible inside the cable car and use your phone's wide-angle lens to capture the river and city views.

At the South Station observation deck, you can take photos with the "I Love Chongqing" neon sign.

Outside the cable car station, take photos looking up at the street where the cable car passes through buildings—a unique feature of Chongqing.

Surrounding Traffic Flow:
North Station Area: Hongyadong, Huguang Guild Hall, Chaotianmen Square.

South Station Area: Nanshan Yikeshu Viewing Platform, Xiahaoli Old Street, offering panoramic views of the Yuzhong Peninsula.
