Valley of Fire State Park is otherworldly with its blazing red sandstone formations and petroglyphs that whisper stories of the past. Driving through, I was struck by how the rocks seemed to glow at sunrise and sunset. Hiking the Fire Wave Trail felt like walking on a swirling canvas of red, orange, and pink stone. Ancient petroglyphs carved into rock faces added a fascinating historical layer to the natural beauty. Every turn revealed another dramatic landscape that felt like stepping onto Mars.
