Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

#holidayitinerary

The Grand Canyon is one of those places you've seen in a thousand photos, but nothing truly prepares you for the feeling of standing on the rim and seeing it for the first time. It's an abyss that swallows the landscape, a humbling chasm of rock, time, and color. I chose the South Rim for my first visit because it's the most accessible, and I felt like I was stepping into a classic postcard. I spent hours walking along the Rim Trail, stopping at every viewpoint, and each one offered a new perspective on the canyon's scale. The changing light throughout the day, from sunrise to sunset, completely transforms the colors of the rock layers. Don't just look down from the top—take a moment to hike down even a short distance on a trail like the Bright Angel. That’s when you really feel the immensity of it all. The vastness is a spiritual experience, a tangible reminder of the power of nature.
