📍 Itinerary Overview
🛫 Departure: MAN-CPH Friday, 22/08 19:10-22:00
🏩 Accomodation: Steel House Hotel £37/night, 6-bedded hostel
🚩 Sightseeing Route: cafe, flea market and walking tour
Day 1 – Saturday, 23 August
☕ Breakfast – Konditori La Glace
Warm, friendly staff and classic pastries. Must-try: cardamom pastry. Americano pot perfect for sharing.
🚶♀️ Morning – Torvehallerne & Israels Plads
Walked to TorvehallerneKBH, stumbled upon a summer flea market at Israels Plads — lively and local.
🍴 Lunch – TorvehallerneKBH
Tried sushi, maki, gyoza, and tacos from various stalls. Great spot for casual bites.
🚏 Afternoon – Refshaleøen & Copenhill
Metro to Christianshavn, bus to Refshaleøen. Cookie and kombucha at Lille Bakery. Explored Copenhill — stunning city views and free access.
🍽️ Dinner – Karla Restaurant
Walked in without a reservation, warmly accommodated. AJ had minced beef; I had roasted pork. Cozy and satisfying end to the day.
😴 Night – Walk Back to Hostel
Peaceful walk back and early rest for Day 2.
Day 2 - Sunday, 24 August
🌭 Breakfast – 7/11
Quick hotdog breakfast to start the day around 9:30 AM.
🛍️ Morning – Shopping & Photobooth Fun
Stopped by Uniqlo, explored the shopping street, browsed Urban Outfitters, and found a cute photobooth for some fun snaps.
📸 Midday – Nyhavn
No Copenhagen trip is complete without Nyhavn. Finally seeing it in person felt surreal — “I’m really in Copenhagen!” moment.
🛐 Church Visit – Sankt Ansgars Kirke
Sunday mass at the city’s beautiful Catholic church. Peaceful and grounding stop.
☕ Coffee Stops – Apotek 57 & Atelier September
Apotek 57: I went all in — 2 cardamom buns, carrot cake, and cold brew. AJ had focaccia pizza and iced matcha latte.
Atelier September: Just a few meters away. Had a cold drink but skipped food — still full from earlier feast.
🚤 Afternoon – Canal Cruise
Took a 2-hour canal tour (£23) — totally worth it! Passed by major landmarks, including The Little Mermaid. Highly recommend an afternoon slot.
🎢 Evening – Tivoli Gardens & Dinner
Took the bus back to rest, then headed to Tivoli around 8:30 PM. Realised too late that we could’ve used our £16 entrance better earlier! Still enjoyed walking around and seeing the park lights. Dinner at Tivoli Food Hall — mix of Asian and Greek dishes.
💤 Night – Back to Hotel
Packed up and rested early for our 6:50 AM flight the next morning.
Day 3 - Fly back home
🛫 CPH-MAN 06:50-09:30
