Thrilling Lagazuoi tunnels - an exciting historical hike with stunning views

Visit Passo Falzarego to hike the Lagazuoi tunnels, which were an important part of the Italian defence during WW1. Crawl through the very same tunnels used by the soldiers, before emerging in the trenches and hiking your way up to the summit where you can walk along the ridge. For the less adventurous, there is also a cable car that takes you from the carpark at Passo Falzarego to the top. The views are spectacular and dreamy even on a cloudy day. Do bring a hard hat and headlight for the tunnels as they can be tricky to navigate. The hike up takes 2-2.5h and is easier up than down if you wish to take the cable car part of the way
