My holiday at Cottesloe Beach was the ultimate coastal escape—simple, beautiful, and refreshing. Located just a short train ride from Perth, Cottesloe welcomed me with its golden sands, turquoise waves, and relaxed seaside charm. The beach was perfect for swimming and sunbathing, while surfers enjoyed the gentle rolling waves further out.

I spent the afternoon strolling along the scenic Cottesloe Esplanade, shaded by tall Norfolk pines, and stopped for a delicious meal at one of the beachfront cafés overlooking the ocean. As the day ended, I witnessed one of the most stunning sunsets I’ve ever seen—the sky glowing with shades of orange, pink, and purple as the sun dipped into the Indian Ocean.
