When you read about Bana Hills, you will seldom come across the Bana Hills Beer Factory. This is a huge plaza with large beer barrels and they even have a beer tour for all interested guests. You only can take the cable car to reach the Beer Plaza area and it is free entry to all guests. Over here, you learn how beer is being made using the various ingredients and the guide here speak English. The best time to come to Beer Plaza is from April to August which is their summer season to enjoy food and beer festival. I was there in September and this period from September to October is their Autumn festive and also Oktoberfest with a great selection of German beer.
