Lu Xun's Hometown is located at No. 241, Lu Xun Middle Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, where Lu Xun was born and spent his youth. Here is a detailed introduction to Lu Xun's Hometown:
Main Attractions
• Lu Xun's Ancestral Residence: Known as Zhou Family Old Taimen, built in the 19th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty, it consists of four sections: Taimen Dou, Main Hall, Ancestral Hall, and Rear Building, covering an area of 3,087 square meters. It is a typical residence of feudal scholar-officials.
• Sanwei Study: A famous private school in Shaoxing during the late Qing Dynasty, where Lu Xun studied from the age of 12 to 17. Shou Jingwu taught here for 60 years. Lu Xun's seat was in the northeast corner of the study, and the hardwood desk he used is still preserved.
• Lu Xun's Former Residence: Located to the west of Zhou Family New Taimen, it was where Lu Xun lived, studied, and worked during his youth. The interior is displayed as it was, with many original furnishings.
• Hundred-Plant Garden: Behind Lu Xun's Former Residence, covering nearly 2,000 square meters, it was originally a shared vegetable garden of the Zhou family in New Taimen and served as Lu Xun's childhood playground. Most of the garden retains its original appearance, including the "short earthen wall" mentioned in his works.
• Lu Xun's Cultural Park: Features four themed exhibition halls—Shaoxing Blessing Customs, Yue Folklore, Temple Fairs, and Traditional Weddings—showcasing Shaoxing's traditional festivals, Yue culture, folk temple fair scenes, and wedding customs.
• Xianheng Hotel: Located on Qiuguan Lane, Lu Xun Road, facing south on the street, the hotel's layout mirrors the description in Lu Xun's novel "Kong Yiji." It is humorously referred to as the Shaoxing Wine Customs Museum.
