Daegu Guam Seowon: Finding Beauty in the Frames That Exist

Guam Seowon is easily accessible by bus from Dongdaegu Station. However, its elevated location means a considerable hike up to the top.

Actually, there wasn't much to see at Guam Seowon. While we were allowed to enter, we weren't allowed to tour the interior, so we visited to get a bird's-eye view of Dongdaegu.

However, we ended up getting some photos in an unexpected location. The stunning scenery unfolded from one side to the other, almost like a picture frame.

In fact, if the weather had been better, Dongdaegu would have looked even more stunning, and I could have captured even better photos from the second photo spot. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, so I was even more delighted by this unexpected discovery.

Guam Seowon is where I learned that there are many frames for capturing beautiful scenery.
