Walk to the Palgong Mountain Cable Car station

The cable car sways among the red maples and yellow ginkgo trees
In the distance, the indigo sky and layered mountains

The cable car moves slowly, about eight minutes
To reach the summit of Sinlim Peak
Sinlim Peak, along with Bilou Peak
And the Great Buddha of Guan Peak to the east
Are famous as a sacred place for blessings in Korean feng shui

Get off the cable car and go higher, overlooking
A 360-degree unobstructed view
The air at the top is piercingly cold
The elderly women are eating pancakes indoors
But the colder it gets, the more I want to eat shaved ice
Ordered red bean mochi ice, eating outdoors
Under the sun, the ice looks especially delicious
Some elderly women passing by think I'm brave
Gathering and laughing, pointing at the ice and giving thumbs up
Eating ice while watching the sunlit mountains

After finishing the ice, the temperature feels below zero
Quickly head to the cable car to go down the mountain
Then walk to Tonghwa Temple to pray
