Erhai Lake

Who understands! After planning countless escapes to Dali, this "Yunqi" hotel deeply healed me—just a step away from S Bay, yet it hides a triple hit of Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, and countryside. Once you check in, you won’t want to touch your suitcase!
🔍 The location is absolutely scream-worthy
Just 100 meters around the corner from S Bay! A 3-minute walk to step into the Erhai Ecological Corridor, a 5-minute bike ride to circle the popular bend.
But once you close the window, it’s so quiet you can only hear cicadas 🌿 This perfect blend of lively and peaceful is mastered here~
Just search "Yunqi" on navigation, even those bad with directions can easily find it!
🌿 Every window is a natural picture frame
Only after staying here do you understand what "framing the window, painting the four seasons" means!
Open the curtains to see clouds drifting over Cangshan, green fields swaying, and mountain view rooms even catch the Erhai sunrise 🌅
The best is the 270° wrap-around terrace! The cantilevered transparent viewing platform lets you sit with a cup of coffee, watching clouds roll and Erhai turn golden and pink… Your phone storage won’t be enough to capture it all!
🏡 17 rooms, each with surprises
The designer really understands "natural aesthetics"!
Some have loft duplexes, perfect for family trips; some hide bed sofas, where you can turn on mood lights at night and watch the moonlight over Erhai 🌙
Dyson hairdryers, Italian toiletries, King Koil mattresses… Detail lovers will touch the pillow and say: yes, this makes you want to stay in bed~
Each room is uniquely designed, but open the window and you’ll be embraced by Cangshan—definitely worth it!
🍽️ The food is even more memorable than the sights
Breakfast must be Yunnan small pot rice noodles! Sour, spicy, and fresh, paired with Xizhou baba, carbs happiness maxed out.
For main meals, don’t miss the "Yun leg pasta"—the salty aroma of Nuodeng ham mixed with creamy flavor surprisingly pairs perfectly with pasta!
Also try the Rushan tiramisu (curious but addictive), local Dali craft beer… The bar’s Yunnan small-batch coffee is just right with the sunset glow~
🎡 Hidden perks that make you not want to leave
Free rental of professional bikes (including kids’ sizes!), riding the S Bay corridor with sea breeze is 100 times better than a sightseeing bus.
Want photos? Partner photographers arrange Bai ethnic costumes + Erhai morning mist shoots, your social feed’s grid won’t be enough.
You can also experience Jiama woodblock printing, Bai silver engraving… Staying here feels like visiting an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, totally worth the trip!
Summary after 3 days: This isn’t just a hotel, it’s Dali’s "ideal type"—mountains, sea, and fields, where you can relax or go wild, even the air smells like "don’t want to leave"~
📍 Yunqi • Dali S Bay Mountain View Hotel (100 meters around the corner from S Bay, direct navigation)
(PS: The mountain view rooms’ sunrise is truly amazing! Set your alarm, don’t oversleep!)
