The Chongsheng Temple and the Three Pagodas are an incredible testament to Dali's enduring history and a must-see for any visitor. Located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and overlooking Erhai Lake, this site offers both stunning natural scenery and profound cultural significance. The Three Pagodas, which have withstood over a thousand years of earthquakes, are a powerful symbol of the region's Buddhist heritage. The tallest pagoda, Qianxun Pagoda, is particularly impressive with its elegant Tang Dynasty architecture. While the temple itself is a more modern reconstruction, it is still breathtakingly grand, showcasing the royal scale of the ancient Dali Kingdom.
