Dali

Dali, about 150-200km’s or so south of Lijiang is a collection of small towns and villages all surrounding one big lake. With emphasis on the word “big” there when describing the lake.

This isn’t the kind of lake you cycle around casually and is very much more the kind of place you need a car or taxis to get around.

Came across this little temple thing just off the shore while riding around the eastern side of the lake and decided to put the drone up in the air.

Honestly, not sure if you can get a boat to wander around the temple but as far as a decent viewpoint if it’s not too busy, it’s good.
