Dalian is a city with blue seawater, charming beaches, and rich culture and cuisine.
📅Itinerary:
·DAY1: Black Reef Park→Xinghai Park→Lianhuashan Observation Deck→Haida Cableway→Cross-sea Bridge→Silver Beach→Fujiazhuang Park
·DAY2: Lingjiao Bay→Fisherman's Wharf→Fendou Alley & Baowei Alley
·DAY3: Taoyuan Market→Russian Style Street & Art Museum→Zhongshan Square→Gangdong Fifth Street→Venice Water City→Donggang Music Square
🎯Day 1:
In the morning, head to Black Reef Park, where you can capture Black Reef, seagulls, and the cross-sea bridge in one shot. Walk along the seaside to reach Xinghai Park.
In the afternoon, navigate to the South Gate 2 of Dalian Forest Zoo, then walk up to Lianhuashan Observation Deck, with an entrance fee of 20 yuan. Take the Haida Cableway (recommended before 4 PM, one-way 60 yuan) to reach the South Gate of Dalian Forest Zoo, and walk a few minutes to the cross-sea bridge. Silver Beach is not recommended when crowded. Fujiazhuang Park is great for watching the sunset.
🎯Day 2:
In the morning, head to Lingjiao Bay and navigate to the Laohuwan Parking Lot. The popular photo spot requires queuing; it's recommended to choose the highest platform for shooting, as it's safe and less crowded (bring a telephoto lens).
Fisherman's Wharf is opposite Lingjiao Bay, and it's recommended to take a taxi there. Watch out for seagulls. Fendou Alley, Baowei Alley, and Jieshan Street are all in the same area, perfect for city walks. The Dalian graffiti sign-in spot is at the Magic Pot Coffee Shop.
🎯Day 3:
In the morning, visit the morning market at Taoyuan Market; the nearby Taoyuan Rongsheng Market is even more worth visiting. Russian Style Street is not recommended, and the Art Museum is closed on Mondays. The clocks at each intersection of Zhongshan Square are great for photos.
In the afternoon, wait for ships to pass by at Gangdong Fifth Street. Although you might wait for half an hour and only shoot for five seconds, it's definitely worth it (best viewing point is Longhu Tianpu). Venice Water City is beautiful both day and night. Donggang Music Square is great for photographing seagulls and sunsets, with a full atmosphere.
🍽Food Recommendations:
- Dingwei Seaweed Buns, Renwanjia Dumplings (noodles, cheap and large portions)
- Riyuesheng Fisherman's Cuisine, 66-88 Dalian Old Dishes (recommended)
- Ximian Handmade Noodles with Sauce (highly recommended, self-service noodles with sauce, delicious!)
- Manting, Rifen Garden, Xiding (sea urchin dumplings are delicious, recommended for takeout)
