🐧 A Whimsical Day at Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe

We had such a fun and memorable time at Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe! From the moment we arrived, the European-style castle architecture gave the whole place a fairytale-like charm. It almost felt like we were stepping into a storybook rather than an aquarium.

The highlight for us was definitely the penguin parade—seeing them waddle through the park was both adorable and hilarious. The kids absolutely loved it and couldn’t stop giggling. The main aquarium tank was also impressive, with huge rays and sharks swimming gracefully past us. It wasn’t a massive facility, but the exhibits were well laid out and easy to explore at a relaxed pace.

We also enjoyed watching the sea lion show, which was short but entertaining. There’s even a small amusement area with rides, making it feel more like a mini theme park than just an aquarium.

Overall, Nixe Marine Park may not be the biggest, but it was filled with charm, heart, and family-friendly fun. If you’re in Noboribetsu with kids (or if you’re a kid at heart), this place is definitely worth a visit.
