The Hottest Spot in Dalian Right Now: Dongguan Street

Dongguan Street is Dalian's newest trendy area, featuring charming accessory shops, the popular bagel shop 'Okay Bagel,' terrace cafes, craft beer pubs, cocktail bars, street food, and hidden photo spots all in one place.

You can reach Dongguan Street by taking the 201 tram from major tourist attractions, which offers a unique experience. Although I took a taxi, seeing the vintage-style tram passing by the entrance made me feel like I was traveling back in time. Modern trams beautifully decorated also frequently pass by, and the atmosphere is enhanced by saxophone performances from the wooden clock tower, adding to the charm of this hotspot.

After recharging with caffeine at Seesaw Coffee, I explored the street. There are plenty of things to see, including cute accessories and souvenirs, and you can also participate in tasting or experience events, making time fly by.

Additionally, there are many hidden photo spots scattered around, so don't just pass by—take a look at the alleys and spaces inside the buildings for some great finds.

On a nice day, it's perfect to enjoy a beer on a terrace. With so many charming and atmospheric places, Dongguan Street is definitely a spot I want to visit again!
