About to enter the best viewing period, this place has fewer people and beautiful ginkgo trees

Taking advantage of the sunny weather to go out and enjoy the autumn, this time the destination is a relatively lesser-known park. Since it’s not far from home and truly beautiful, I have been coming here to see the ginkgo trees for three or four years in a row. After all, seasonal scenery, once missed, means waiting a whole year.

📍 Torch Road Sports Park

There are many ginkgo trees here, mainly distributed along both sides of the road and on a slope on one side. Under the sunlight and with the help of filters, they look a bit more yellow, but in reality, they are greener. Right now, they are about 60% into their peak season. A few ginkgo trees with good lighting have turned fully golden, but the vast majority are just starting to change color.

It is expected that in a few days it will reach the best viewing period. If nothing unexpected happens, this weekend will be perfect for coming here to check in and take photos. If you’re not so obsessed with 100% golden leaves, coming now is also good—enjoy it early.

The photos were taken around noon at 12 o’clock under the sunlight. The close-up ginkgo leaves in backlight become shiny and sparkling. On a clear sunny day, it’s better to come in the morning because in the afternoon, the tall buildings nearby will block the sun. More than half of the most beautiful ginkgo avenue will fall into shadow, and without light, it’s harder to get good shots.
