In this town, the river is the road!

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is one of the most famous floating markets in Thailand.

Located in Ratchaburi province, about 90km from Bangkok, it is very popular with tourists.

The taxi driver I picked up the day before recommended it, so I met him at 7am and he took me there.

At the market, small boats loaded with fruits, vegetables, and local foods come and go on the canals, creating a lively atmosphere!

It is said that the busiest time is from 8am to 10am, when you can enjoy shopping and eating on the boats.
Another attraction is that you can get a glimpse of the traditional Thai lifestyle while touring the canals.

It may be better not to take pictures of people living in residential areas!
